University of Georgia - Myers Hall

Athens, Georgia

Delivery Method & Services: Preconstruction; Design-Bid-Build
Project Size: 127,000 SF

Originally built in 1953, this project is a 127,000 SF renovation and addition to the historic Myers Hall. The project altered the room configuration from the traditional two-bed dorm room to a multiple room which included a mix of traditional rooms and newer room suites that hold eight to ten beds each. The addition to the existing building included a renovation to the existing lobby area, a new activities hall with TV rooms, conference facilities, and multi-purpose space for lectures and recreation.

"Hogan Construction and the members of their team have met or exceeded all of my expectations for performance on this project...The quality of work delivered on this project is excellent and the Hogan crew established and maintained that standard from the outset."

- James F. Day, Ph.D., Director of University Housing, University of Georgia
