Gwinnett County OneStop Health & Human Services Center
New construction of a 33,342 sf, two story building. Known as OneStop Centerville, this facility contains a Mental Health program based on the OneStop Norcross location Human Services Facility. The new facility is expected to offer additional space for the Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale Health Departments, View Point Health and the Head Start early childhood learning program.
The structure will be a structural steel frame, composite floor system for most of the second level, and a pitched roof currently shown as light gauge metal trusses. The lower level of the building will require a retaining wall approximately 15’ high, on the long side of the building parallel to the existing library building.
The exterior of the building will be light gauge metal stud walls, with a wainscot of brick and above the brick is clad with Hardi-board siding, soffit and fascia. Glazing systems will be thermally broken aluminum storefront systems. The roof is designed as a standing seam metal roof on a rigid insulation system. The Flat roof area is a Modified Bit roof per Gwinnett County Standards.
