Fulton County Library Program - Roswell Library
Thanks to a library bond referendum approved by Fulton County, the Fulton County Library System engaged in a Capital Improvement project to build new libraries and modernize existing branches. Hogan Construction Group partnered with McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture and Chasm Architecture to provide Design-Build services for the seven libraries involving both extensive exterior and interior renovations. Depending on size and scope the facilities were completed within three to nine months.
Hogan Construction provided Preconstruction, Value Engineering, Design Assistance, LEED/Sustainability and Construction Services. In addition, Hogan Construction Group, held community focused subcontractor meetings to encourage local and minority participation.
The scope of the Roswell Library scope included raising the front elevation of the building, new asphalt shingle roof, storefront windows, paint, repaving, restoration of a one of kind mural and landscaping. Interior improvements include new HVAC and electrical, fire protection, and new finishes.
The Roswell Branch of the Fulton County Library received the 1st Place Award by the AGC - 2020 Build Georgia Awards Program.
The Roswell Branch of the Fulton County Library has obtained LEED Silver Certification.
