Hogan Construction constructed four Terminal Buildings for the historical South Carolina Inland Port.  The new intermodal transportation facility linked docks in Charleston to the Upstate through an overnight train service operated by Norfolk Southern.  The 40 acre development contains slots for approximately 550 shipping containers. The anchor tenant is BMW.
The pre-engineered buildings located on the west side of the port is utilized for port container traffic and logistical control.  Those buildings include a 1,500 square foot Motor Vehicle Maintenance Building, as well as a 2,900 square foot brick veneer Operations Building.
The Operations facility includes offices, meeting rooms, and IT services in order to provide logistical efficiency to the international container process.  The six-lane open air Interchange Canopy fosters natural sky lighting and serves all incoming and outgoing traffic complete with a truck scale of 9,000 square feet for inventory control.
A three-vehicle Wash Rack Station with a covered dock aids all port container and inland Port traffic as needed.
