Preconstruction:

Projects are constructed by individuals coming together in a team environment, facilitated by a mutual feeling of trust and respect to deliver a product of superior quality and function. Hogan has specialized in leading this effort and has developed a staff of seasoned professionals whose years of preconstruction experience are galvanized by creating an environment which ensures open and honest communication by all team members.

It is Hogan’s belief that the successful completion of a project’s preconstruction phase is a large part of ensuring a project’s success. A well defined and implemented pre-construction phase takes into account not only pricing, but also sets the stage for the Team’s understanding of design sensitivities, schedule, Owner "hot buttons", and value analysis. Hogan prides itself in assuming a partnering role with the Owner and Design Team and will leave no stone unturned in its effort to ensure a successful project that not only meets but exceeds the Owners objectives throughout the construction process.

General Contracting:

Hogan regularly engages in the general contracting delivery method. While this delivery method is often associated with the design, bid build format, Hogan is available to assist with the Owners needs by offering its vast construction knowledge and resources on an “as needed” basis throughout the delivery process.

Hogan is fully capable of self performing a majority of the project including earthwork, concrete, drywall, rough carpentry and will engage fully qualified subcontractors to provide that part of the project which require specialized resources such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fire protection.

A large majority of the Hogan office staff has years of field experience ensuring construction solutions to project challenges which are both realistic and economical.

Design Build:

Hogan offers Design Build delivery services for Owners who are looking for alternative delivery methods as a way to further reduce their cost. In this delivery method, Hogan assumes a leadership role in bringing a turn key delivery system to meet its Owners construction objectives. The Design Build process is an innovative delivery system which takes advantage of Hogan’s vast knowledge of pricing, value analysis, constructability reviews and scheduling services from the outset to reduce cost and project duration.

As an integral Team member, Hogan works closely with the Design Team from the projects inception ensuring the project is delivered to the Owners satisfaction in terms of budget and schedule. Construction methodologies and material selections are supported by constructability and life cycle cost analysis and communicated to the Owner in an open format, thus ensuring the Owners expectations are met.

Construction Management:

Eighty-percent of Hogan’s projects are delivered utilizing the Construction Management at Risk delivery method. This delivery method allows Owners to take advantage of Hogan’s great depth of resources ensuring technical based solutions to Owners challenging construction needs. Hogan’s principals, combining over 125 years of construction management experience, bring real time solutions to today’s construction challenges. Hogan prides itself in assuming an integral role and facilitates the collaborate effort among the project team.

As a collaborative team member, Hogan offers preconstruction services including budgeting, cost estimating, scheduling, constructability review and value engineering studies. A guaranteed maximum price can be given at relatively any stage of the construction document process thus allowing fast track delivery methods to be implemented.

 

Sustainable Services:

Hogan Construction Group understands that sustainable building must increase the value of a property in order to be implemented. That value can be in terms of desirability, lower operating costs or alignment with organizational values.

Hogan is experienced in multiple green building programs. Certification by the nationally recognized USGBC Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system, as well as certification by regional programs, such as the Southeastern EarthCraft House, are all well represented in our portfolio of projects.

LEED Accredited Professionals hold positions as Estimators, Project Engineers, Project Managers and Vice Presidents.
