Powder Springs Police & Municipal Court: Powder Springs, GA

Hogan Construction Group and design-build partner MEP Design Engineers worked collaboratively with the City of Powder Springs and the Owner’s representative, Croy Engineering, on the adaptive re-use of a former ACE Hardware store into the new Powder Springs Police Department. The 17,000 SF existing commercial building received extensive façade and interior modifications as well as a new roof. A 3,000 SF pre-engineered metal building was added to the existing structure to provide space for off-road vehicle storage and conditioned record storage.

The new police facility includes three pre-fabricated steel cells, administrative offices for police personnel, locker rooms with showers, evidence storage areas and a public lobby. The building also houses the EMS dispatching service.
