Hogan believes by investing in our employees we can produce and retain top-quality staff. In the first quarter of 2007 alone, Hogan has re-invested $35,000 in training and expects over 2200 training hours to be logged by the end of the year. We believe the better educated our people the better our bottom line.

Our schedule of internal training opportunities is published bi-annually in January and June. Employees know of opportunities in advance and are able to plan their schedule accordingly.

Covering the wide territory of Safety Training, Regulatory Training, Management Skills and Construction Knowledge our classes are given by industry professionals and include hands-on, reality based applications.

It is not uncommon to hear from a new Hogan employee, “I’ve received more training here in three months than I’ve received my whole career” or from a Superintendent, “ I don’t mind going to safety training like that- where you actually learn something”.

Hogan employees are recognized for the accomplishment of achieving 20 class points per year with a Hogan U Polo Shirt, recognition at Company Wide meetings and as a positive influencer in their annual bonus.

Recognizing that our subcontractors are the secret of our success, Hogan makes free OSHA 10-hr training available twice each year. Hogan freely shares training sources to subcontractors and can direct subs to low cost or free sources of safety training in the Atlanta area.
