Georgia Department of Transportation: Atlanta, Georgia

When the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) moved all of its operations to One Georgia Center, it was determined this complex transition would be completed in phases. Hogan contracted with developer CP Venture Three, LLC, GDOT, and Cousins Properties and worked extensively with GDOT to provide tenant build-out and renovation services for ten floors in the new 29-story Atlanta headquarters. Hogan completed the renovation services using only two service elevators throughout the day, while ensuring daily occupancy and the safety of its employees.

In addition to on-site construction management, Hogan led the project team — consisting of Wakefield Beasley & Associates and RWB Interiors — under the design-build project delivery method. Hogan also provided scheduling and value engineering.

Hogan’s efforts saved many of the original materials of the 50-year old building which contributed to the facilities LEED Gold Certificate.

Client Quote:

“Hogan maintained deadlines, was a team player, and always provided solutions to every problem encountered during the construction process. The end result of their efforts was high quality construction and a happy client. What particularly impressed me was Hogan’s commitment to excellence and professionalism, and to go the extra mile to complete every task at hand. Hogan maintained a positive attitude throughout the project which was a main contribution to the project’s success.”
Kristen Poole, QA Manager, WB Interiors, Inc.

“This was my first project with Hogan and it was a very positive experience. The team was extremely conscientious in working though the details of the project to make sure that the level of quality and the necessary coordination took place; this assured that the project was completed correctly and on schedule. I look forward to an opportunity to work with this great team again.”
