Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity House

The Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity house originally constructed in 1908 became one of the first hotels in Clemson.  The home and property was purchased in 1973 by the AGR Alumni Association and offered the first off-campus fraternity in the state of South Carolina.
Destroyed by fire in the Spring of 2010, a new 15,783 square foot fraternity house was built in its place.  The new house includes twenty-one double bedrooms, a commercial grade kitchen, full dining hall, a study room, lounge and laundry room.  The facade of this new fraternity house is similar to the old structure and boasts a front porch with twenty-five foot columns, a brick foundation facade and siding.
